Helping women find their voice after betrayal and emotional abuse through education, encouragement and empowerment

Do you feel like you are living in a fog of confusion?

Or, stuck in your recovery journey?

Sometimes it may feel like there has been no progress in reconciliation or maybe it feels like your relationship is stuck in the way "it used to be" versus growing into something different, something deeper and more rich.

As a result of betrayal and the destructive patterns of manipulation that come along with it, our strength, confidence and voices tend to diminish, leaving us confused, numb and feeling almost like being paralyzed. But there is HOPE!

I know because I have reclaimed my strength, confidence and voice!

YOU CAN TOO!

But we need community!

It is within community we find healing. There is something healing about knowing we are not alone in this struggle.

My dear friend, you are not alone, and I would like to help.

How?

God walked me through a transformational journey that took me out of the muck and mire into a life of clarity, peace and freedom, regardless of where my marriage would end up. Think of me as a fellow sojourner travelling with you on your journey to reclaiming your strength, confidence and voice, taking what God has shown me and sharing it with you.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV)

This is a ministry born out of Stephanie's pain and heartache. Her desire is to see women betrayed by infidelity and emotional abuse find their voices again, heal from the pain and grow closer to the God of all comfort. She believes that by focusing on your own healing and transformation, it will empower and equip you to either leave well or stay well in your relationships.

Meet Stephanie

Author, Speaker & Certified Professional Betrayal Trauma Mentor

Devasted and distraught, I felt God beckoning me to Morro Bay, a place I loved to go as a child. It was on that beach (see the top picture) God met me in a profound way.

Childhood wounds and the confession of infidelity from my husband had all compounded on one another to bring me to the bottom of a pit. But standing on that beach, surrounded by the darkness that wanted to penetrate my soul, God met me there and reminded me that I do indeed matter.

At that moment, God started me on a transformational journey from the nice girl who tried to please everyone to a Warrior Woman for Him! And there is no going back!

My desire is to share with you what He has shown me, and continues to show me, on my healing journey.

A dangerous woman delves deeply into the truth of who she is, grounds herself daily in the healing and empowering love of God, and radically engages with the needs of the world."

It (book study group) was a time of sharing both challenges and victories, of growing and stretching, and being heard, seen and understood. Stephanie leads in such a way that you are able to freely share your perspective while clearly hearing that of another. I always left encouraged and challenged.

Having recently participated in one of Stephanie's book studies where we read and discussed the book "Intimate Deceptions" by Dr. Sheri Keffer, I can say it was one of the best gifts I could have given myself. With Steph's wisdom and guidance, the connectivity with other ladies in the group struggling with the same issues, it was a blessing to feel heard, accepted and encouraged. I could not have done this healing journey on my own, and I am grateful for the help Stephanie provided and know that she is a wonderful resource, helping women dealing with trauma, to find peace, comfort, healing and recovery.

Stephanie helped walk me through the effects of trauma, after I got out of a verbally and emotionally abusive marriage.  She helped me put words and verbiage to what I had gone through, and emotions and after-effects I was experiencing.  She validated me, and reassured me I wasn’t “crazy”.  Her knowledge about emotional and verbal abuse, as well as her compassion and ability to really listen to me, has made a huge difference in my healing and recovery.
